Fan in Chantilly lace, with silk painted insertions.
The presence of three medallions representing some putto playing with branches of ivy, it wants to remind to the Louis XVI style. We give a particular look to the symbology of ivy to suppose that this fan can have been made for an engagement or a wedding.
The ivory sticks maybe come from Indian colonies, for the particular  lavoration technique at high-relief.
The rivet is covered by an ivory hemisphere.
